Henrik Rudkvist hit a great ball. 4 minutes into the match, Gunnersaurus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Niklas Forsberg came free, but Ove Bergstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 5 minutes into the game, Henrik Rudkvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gunnersaurus FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hasselfors IFK the free kick. In the 5th minute, Henrik Rudkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Niklas Forsberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 10 minutes into the match, Gunnersaurus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Niklas Forsberg came free, but Ove Bergstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 12 minutes into the game, Niklas Forsberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ove Bergstedt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Niklas Forsberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ove Bergstedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernt Tidéksson in the 18th minute of the match. In the 20th play minute Roland Bergman came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Morgan Kvist. 1-1. Hasselfors IFK's Morgan Kvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Arne Arenstedt in the 30th minute of play. Roland Bergman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Morgan Kvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Morgan Kvist was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sven-Arne Arenstedt showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 40 minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bernt Tidéksson was the one to do the kick off. Edwin Andreasson struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Ove Bergstedt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hasselfors IFK. 56 minutes into the game, Bernt Tidéksson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ove Bergstedt. Bernt Tidéksson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Gunnersaurus FC's Ove Bergstedt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Gunnersaurus FC from getting a goal against them. Niklas Forsberg in the 66thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ove Bergstedt, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some careless play in the Gunnersaurus FC defense, Niklas Forsberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ove Bergstedt. The Gunnersaurus FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ove Bergstedt should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Gunnersaurus FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Johan Majman hit a great ball. After 75 played minutes Hasselfors IFK got a freekick which was hit by Tommy Snäll. Niklas Forsberg scored 2-4 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ove Bergstedt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Morgan Kvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Arne Arenstedt in the 86th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Hasselfors IFK's zone, Roland Bergman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Morgan Kvist came out of the goal and Roland Bergman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Gunnersaurus FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Urban Helander hit a great ball. Gunnersaurus FC's Ove Bergstedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernt Tidéksson in the 96th minute of play. Hasselfors IFK played a much better game than Gunnersaurus FC and deserved their victory. The Gunnersaurus FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
