Ove Bergstedt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Einar Bergdal, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Agne Sjögren kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Ove Bergstedt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Simon Wållander in the 11th minute. After 12 played minutes Elmas hjältar got a freekick which was hit by Simon Wållander. When Gunnersaurus FC's Sven-Arne Arenstedt in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When Jerry Stålberg came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Elmas hjältar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jerry Stålberg couldn't finish the play. In the 23rd minute of the match Carl Asklöv shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ola Engström showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ola Engström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Bergman, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 24 minutes into the game, Roland Bergman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ola Engström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 29 minutes, Roland Bergman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gunnersaurus FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roland Bergman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 30th minute Einar Bergdal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ove Bergstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Gunnersaurus FC's Johan Majman got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 33rdth minute of the game Einar Bergdal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gunnersaurus FC's Ove Bergstedt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Jerry Stålberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Elmas hjältar's supporters rose to their feet, but Jerry Stålberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ove Bergstedt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jerry Stålberg got free with Ove Bergstedt in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jerry Stålberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Ove Bergstedt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ola Engström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roland Bergman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Jerry Stålberg came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Elmas hjältar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jerry Stålberg couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The crowd rose to their feet as Gunnersaurus FC's Sven-Arne Arenstedt slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ola Engström. That made the score 0-2 after 51 minutes of play. If Roland Bergman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 59 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gunnersaurus FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Simon Wållander was slow to take the kick. During this time Elmas hjältar's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Elmas hjältar's Vilhelm Elg getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Sven-Arne Arenstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ola Engström having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, Jerry Stålberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ove Bergstedt. Gunnersaurus FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jerry Stålberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Gunnersaurus FC's Sven-Arne Arenstedt got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice moves Roland Bergman could shoot a difficult shot in the 79th minute, which Ola Engström however easily saved by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Henrik Rudkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gunnersaurus FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Henrik Rudkvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ola Engström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sven-Arne Arenstedt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 87th minute, Simon Wållander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sven-Arne Arenstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ola Engström having to interfere. The Gunnersaurus FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
