Rune Klintæus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freddie Johnsson in the 19th minute of the match. Rune Klintæus came out of the goal and Freddie Johnsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lars Thorsberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. But to his dismay, Freddie Johnsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Lars Thorsberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edwin Lindberg made a kick off. After 53 played minutes TSV Grün-Weiß Borussia got a freekick which was hit by Knut Bokelund. In the 59th minute of the match, Lars Thorsberg got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rune Klintæus was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 62nd minute, Lars Thorsberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tidan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Lars Thorsberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Rune Klintæus made a huge save. Rune Klintæus was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Per-Oskar Tidén showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 67 minute of play. After having played for 71 minutes, Freddie Johnsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tidan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Freddie Johnsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 77 minutes into the match, TSV Grün-Weiß Borussia's goalkeeper Rune Klintæus had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lars Thorsberg. A collision led to TSV Grün-Weiß Borussia getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Jens-Ove Ekenberg hit a great ball. Rune Klintæus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddie Johnsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lars Thorsberg's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rune Klintæus firmly grabbed it by the left post. Lars Thorsberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Rune Klintæus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peter Asklöv showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edwin Lindberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
