If Douglas Magnusson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Douglas Magnusson struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Torgny Ström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eldsberga. Eldsberga's Douglas Magnusson got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ljungby RK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Eldsberga the free kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Douglas Magnusson was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Ljungby RK's zone, Douglas Magnusson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. After a rather tough play, Ljungby RK's Måns Gernberg got a free kick in the 61st minute. When Douglas Magnusson came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Eldsberga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Douglas Magnusson couldn't finish the play. Evert Ekström got a throw-in 72 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Nils Gunnarsson. 76 minutes into the match, Eldsberga's goal looked a bit too open when Nils Gunnarsson came free, but Abraham Aliaga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute, Douglas Magnusson made a precise shot to the right of Torgny Ström. Ljungby RK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2.
