In the 19th minute, Marcus Duset made a precise shot to the right of Kjell-Arne Lindman. Sandhem IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The audience was convinced that Marcus Duset's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kjell-Arne Lindman was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Sandhem IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bo-Erik Ahlrot was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michel Kruuse in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kjell-Arne Lindman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Michel Kruuse fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Annerstad's protests and gave Michel Kruuse a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Annerstad's Michel Kruuse got a free kick in the 47th minute. After the first half Annerstad were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Michel Kruuse got free with Kjell-Arne Lindman in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Annerstad's Marcus Duset got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Sandhem IF's zone, Michel Kruuse stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kjell-Arne Lindman came out of the goal and Michel Kruuse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 61st minute, Michel Kruuse left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Annerstad fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Dan Berggren placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Duset in the 72nd minute of play forced Sandhem IF's goalkeeper Kjell-Arne Lindman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bo-Erik Ahlrot during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Michel Kruuse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kjell-Arne Lindman having to interfere. Marcus Duset sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kjell-Arne Lindman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Duset in the 84th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Annerstad's Kåre Örtendahl got a free kick in the 85th minute. Wiktor Lustig was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 86th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Sandhem IF's zone, Michel Kruuse stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kjell-Arne Lindman came out of the goal and Michel Kruuse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcus Duset blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kjell-Arne Lindman having to make a save. If Marcus Duset had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marcus Duset got in the 97th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Kjell-Arne Lindman handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Annerstad left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Sandhem IF.
