Petter Nordmark fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Jakobsson having to interfere. After 29 played minutes Partille FK got a freekick which was hit by Villiam Dahlbom. Billy Persson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Partille FK getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Villiam Dahlbom hit a great ball. Pelle Stenkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Conny Forsman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute Pelle Stenkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conny Forsman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Pelle Stenkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Partille FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Pelle Stenkvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Conny Forsman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daniel Jakobsson was out of position in the 42 minute of play, and Billy Persson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Billy Persson really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 47 minutes into the match, Partille FK's Sven-Oskar Kämpe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Conny Forsman narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pelle Stenkvist to make the kick off. Daniel Jakobsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Billy Persson, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 54th minute Billy Persson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Jakobsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Billy Persson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daniel Jakobsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 58th minute by Sven-Oskar Kämpe got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 59th minute, Pelle Stenkvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 63rd minute, Petter Nordmark got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
