Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sten Mattsson got the match started through his kick off. In the 2nd match minute, Besiktas JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Arne Thorsberg to maneuver through the defense. Sten Mattsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Pär Sörman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pär Sörman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sten Mattsson's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patrik Hermansson got free with Thor Lundberg in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to The Mighty Way getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Christer Arvidsson hit a great ball. Harry Dahlquist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th minute, Harry Dahlquist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pär Sörman was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Thor Lundberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Patrik Hermansson in the 24th minute. After a defensive mix-up in The Mighty Way's zone, Lucas Forssell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thor Lundberg came out of the goal and Lucas Forssell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lucas Forssell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Besiktas JK getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Sven-Arne Thorsberg hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Besiktas JK's zone, Sten Mattsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pär Sörman came out of the goal and Sten Mattsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Harry Dahlquist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pär Sörman was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lucas Forssell was the one to do the kick off. Patrik Hermansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Oskar Wennerqvist hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Thor Lundberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Forssell, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Sten Mattsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 88 minutes into the match, Besiktas JK's goal looked a bit too open when Sten Mattsson came free, but Pär Sörman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to The Mighty Way getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Sten Mattsson hit a great ball. Thor Lundberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Forssell, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The Mighty Way's Thor Lundberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Forssell in the 95th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the The Mighty Way players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Besiktas JK.
