Patrik Åkerman hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. When Joakim Bodin came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Elfsborg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joakim Bodin couldn't finish the play. Christer Jakobsson charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christer Jakobsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 33rd match minute, Team ⚽ Zone was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kristian Arenstedt to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Elfsborg's Stig-Arne Sandberg got a free kick in the 36th minute. Tim Molander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Uno Harman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andreas Blom in the 41st minute. Uno Harman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tim Molander in the 46th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tim Molander to make the kick off. Elfsborg's Uno Harman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tim Molander in the 61st minute of play. Tim Molander struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Uno Harman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Team ⚽ Zone. When Andreas Blom came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Team ⚽ Zone fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andreas Blom couldn't finish the play. In the 68th minute of the match, Joakim Bodin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Marko Johansson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 71stth minute of the game Andreas Blom who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Elfsborg's Uno Harman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Andreas Blom managed to get in a good position for a shot. Team ⚽ Zone's supporters rose to their feet, but Andreas Blom was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Uno Harman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 74 minutes into the match, Team ⚽ Zone's goalkeeper Marko Johansson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joakim Bodin. In the 78th match minute, Elfsborg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joakim Bodin to maneuver through the defense. Joakim Bodin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marko Johansson having to interfere.
