In the 9th minute Jan-Ove Jansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Käller saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes in the game, Jan-Ove Jansson fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Aaron Käller having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Vidar Falkrantz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Folke Lekberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Folke Lekberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vidar Falkrantz in the 23rd minute of play. If Vidar Falkrantz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Johannes Jespersson came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Hammerdal FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Johannes Jespersson couldn't finish the play. After 47 played minutes, Hammerdal FK's Göran Springfält shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Folke Lekberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hammerdal FK reached it. After the first half Hammerdal FK were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After a defensive mix-up in Hammers BK's zone, Vidar Falkrantz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Folke Lekberg came out of the goal and Vidar Falkrantz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Folke Lekberg stood somewhat misplaced when Johannes Jespersson came free in front of goal and shot 0-4 to the left of him in the 54 minute. 60 minutes into the game, Jan-Ove Jansson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Aaron Käller was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 68th match minute, Hammers BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agne Ennegren to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute of the match, Vidar Falkrantz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Folke Lekberg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Folke Lekberg made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Johannes Jespersson sent off a good shot on target. Hammers BK's Christian Stålberg got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Johannes Jespersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Rune Josefsson got his second yellow card in the match during the 94th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Hammerdal FK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
