The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Björn Askelöf stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dennis Lundberg in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ernst Stenkvist saved Heby from getting behind. Carl Hedkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolf Klementsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Isac Blanck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Ernst Stenkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Heby's Valter Sundberg got a free kick in the 89th minute. Rolf Klementsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carl Hedkvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rolf Klementsson ran back to his position shaking his head. Dennis Lundberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Västerås United FC had won after a very even match.
