Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dan Gallin started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Skepplanda booed when Granö IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rune Biörkquist didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 3rdth minute of the game Dan Gallin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Granö IFK's Elof Bergendahl was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Elof Bergendahl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dan Gallin in the 7th minute of play. After 21 minutes, Ingemar Källberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Skepplanda and the Granö IFK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 22nd minute, Alfons Näver fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roland Christoffersson in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elof Bergendahl prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alexander Finnman during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Skepplanda getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Alexander Finnman hit a great ball. When Aron Gernberg fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Skepplanda's protests and gave Aron Gernberg a yellow card for diving instead. Aron Gernberg hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Elof Bergendahl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roland Christoffersson in the 41st minute of the match. 44 minutes into the game, Gunnar Barck was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Granö IFK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Skepplanda the free kick. In the 44th minute, Gunnar Barck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roland Christoffersson in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elof Bergendahl saved Granö IFK from getting behind. The Granö IFK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Skepplanda were winning 0-1.

In the 51st minute, Verner Molin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kjell-Arne Hellqvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 62nd match minute, Granö IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Magnus Myhr to maneuver through the defense. Granö IFK's Elof Bergendahl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dan Gallin in the 64th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Dan Gallin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skepplanda's supporters rose to their feet, but Dan Gallin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elof Bergendahl breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Sten Magnusson fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Skepplanda's protests and gave Sten Magnusson a yellow card for diving instead. 72 minutes into the game, one of Skepplanda:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Granö IFK a penalty, 74 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Konrad Forsberg, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Skepplanda's Kjell-Arne Hellqvist. 2-1. In the 84thth minute of the game Verner Molin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Skepplanda's Kjell-Arne Hellqvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Roland Christoffersson came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Skepplanda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roland Christoffersson couldn't finish the play. Johannes Bergkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Elof Bergendahl made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Roland Christoffersson sent off a good shot on target. Skepplanda's Kjell-Arne Hellqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfons Näver in the 95th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Skepplanda players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Granö IFK.
