Spectators: 7310 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 145) Christer Runberg started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Frank Hellsing fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gurra Hellmoppers's protests and gave Frank Hellsing a yellow card for diving instead. In the 3rd match minute, Gurra Hellmoppers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank Hellsing to maneuver through the defense. Henning Boman's late challenge caught a Vikingar och Vargar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Henning Boman helped the player get up and apologised. In the 5th minute, Henning Boman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Olof Vibjörnsson came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Vikingar och Vargar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olof Vibjörnsson couldn't finish the play. Jerry Sandström came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Vikingar och Vargar's Freddie Hedin. But to his dismay, Freddie Hedin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 19thth minute of the game Christer Runberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vikingar och Vargar's Georg Boman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jerry Sandström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olof Vibjörnsson in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the game, Freddie Hedin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Jerry Sandström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 31 minutes into the game, Staffan Fredriksson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vikingar och Vargar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gurra Hellmoppers the free kick. Christer Runberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Georg Boman having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Vikingar och Vargar's goalkeeper Georg Boman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jörgen Lindström. In the 37th match minute, Vikingar och Vargar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christer Brovall to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute of the match Patrik Lindström sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Georg Boman skillfully saved the ball. Freddie Hedin struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Jerry Sandström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vikingar och Vargar. Freddie Hedin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 49th minute. Jerry Sandström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christer Runberg in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Georg Boman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jerry Sandström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddie Hedin in the 60th minute of play. Jerry Sandström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddie Hedin, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After 64 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gurra Hellmoppers! Filip Collin walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Malcolm Ersman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Georg Boman having to interfere. In the 76th minute Christer Runberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Georg Boman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Freddie Hedin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute Freddie Hedin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerry Sandström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Georg Boman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Hellsing in the 91st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Vikingar och Vargar's zone, Christer Runberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Georg Boman came out of the goal and Christer Runberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Vikingar och Vargar eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
