Karl Sundström took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ingmar Bäckström. Åsljunga IK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Banck Boys's goalkeeper Niklas Rang, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kasper Malmström hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Jens-Erik Fransson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 43 minutes into the match, Banck Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Jens-Erik Fransson came free, but Niklas Rang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erik Malmberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Ingmar Bäckström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Georg Harlén made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Åsljunga IK's zone, Erik Malmberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ingmar Bäckström came out of the goal and Erik Malmberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ingmar Bäckström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Georg Harlén in the 78th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens-Erik Fransson in the 83rd minute of play forced Banck Boys's goalkeeper Niklas Rang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kasper Malmström was shown his second yellow card after 86 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Erik Malmberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erik Malmberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
