No Energy Fc's Niklas Örnberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save No Energy Fc from getting a goal against them. Agne Boberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Niklas Örnberg having to make a save. In the 24th minute, Jens-Erik Fransson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Niklas Örnberg. The goal made the score 2-0. Alfred Göransson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingmar Bäckström having to interfere. Ingmar Bäckström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tobias Lindgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Tobias Lindgren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ingmar Bäckström. Åsljunga IK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tobias Lindgren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Ingmar Bäckström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobias Lindgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 38 minutes, Alfred Göransson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. No Energy Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfred Göransson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dan Åström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ingmar Bäckström having to make a save. After some careless play in the Åsljunga IK defense, Tobias Lindgren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ingmar Bäckström. The Åsljunga IK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ingmar Bäckström should have stopped the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tobias Lindgren was the one to do the kick off. Ingmar Bäckström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tobias Lindgren's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Alfred Göransson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No Energy Fc were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Åsljunga IK to leave the ground with a draw.
