Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Adam Mager made the kick off which started today's match. Bengt-Åke Anselius came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Åseda's Lennart Kielberg. But to his dismay, Lennart Kielberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Ted Bark had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bengt-Åke Anselius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lennart Kielberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the match, Åseda's goal looked a bit too open when Fritz Lilja came free, but Björn Aleberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bengt-Åke Anselius came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Åseda's Lennart Kielberg. But to his dismay, Lennart Kielberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Adam Mager received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Björn Aleberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd match minute, Åseda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manfred Dalgren to maneuver through the defense. When Adam Mager came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Sennan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adam Mager couldn't finish the play. If Lennart Kielberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lennart Kielberg scored 0-3 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bengt-Åke Anselius, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lennart Kielberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Bengt-Åke Anselius stood somewhat misplaced when Lennart Kielberg came free in front of goal and shot 0-4 to the left of him in the 52 minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lennart Kielberg in the 55th minute of play forced Sennan's goalkeeper Bengt-Åke Anselius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute Lennart Kielberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt-Åke Anselius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adam Mager blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Björn Aleberg having to make a save. Björn Aleberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Mager in the 69th minute of play. Bengt-Åke Anselius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lennart Kielberg in the 70th minute of play. Sennan's Fritz Lilja got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Åseda's Svante Lindholm managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Rune Hellsing in the 85 minute of the game. Lennart Kielberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bengt-Åke Anselius read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. The supporters of Åseda booed when Sennan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henric Asserlind didn't get a good kick on the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Sennan's goal looked a bit too open when Manfred Dalgren came free, but Bengt-Åke Anselius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute of the match, Lennart Kielberg tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bengt-Åke Anselius saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The Åseda supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Åseda would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
