The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 4 minutes, Charles Borre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 6thth minute of the game Conny Dalman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Järbo's Karl-Axel Törnkvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gustav Pettersson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 8th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Henning Telin. Töcksfors's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Karl-Axel Törnkvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Charles Borre in the 21st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Järbo's zone, Charles Borre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl-Axel Törnkvist came out of the goal and Charles Borre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Charles Borre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Karl-Axel Törnkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Henning Telin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aleksander Pilblad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the match, Töcksfors's Charles Borre sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Karl-Axel Törnkvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Algot Classon charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Algot Classon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Töcksfors booed when Järbo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Algot Classon didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Charles Borre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rolf Täman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Henning Telin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rolf Täman was the one to do the kick off. Karl-Axel Törnkvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. If Aleksander Pilblad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Töcksfors had won after a very even match.
