The crowd rose to their feet as Stallarholmen's Sven-Erik Hedlund slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Magnus Trulsson. That made the score 2-0 after 32 minutes of play. In the 36th minute of the match Maximilian Brodin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcus Sjögren skillfully saved the ball. Sven-Erik Hedlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Magnus Trulsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elliott Lindström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manfred Sundén in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcus Sjögren saved Stallarholmen from getting behind.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sven-Erik Hedlund to make the kick off. Dan Landin's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Marcus Sjögren firmly grabbed it by the left post. Sven-Erik Hedlund struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Magnus Trulsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stallarholmen. Sven-Erik Hedlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Älgarås's zone, Sven-Erik Hedlund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Magnus Trulsson came out of the goal and Sven-Erik Hedlund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Magnus Trulsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Erik Hedlund in the 61st minute of play. Maximilian Brodin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marcus Sjögren. Stallarholmen's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Ludwig Lindgren fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stallarholmen's protests and gave Ludwig Lindgren a yellow card for diving instead. In the 69th match minute, Stallarholmen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ludwig Lindgren to maneuver through the defense. Marcus Sjögren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manfred Sundén in the 72nd minute of play. Manfred Sundén sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stallarholmen's Marcus Sjögren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manfred Sundén in the 80th minute of play. In the 84th minute Manfred Sundén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Sjögren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Älgarås's Simon Albohm got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Manfred Sundén sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Simon Albohm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Älgarås's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
