Valentin Bremming took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Sandberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Hällekis RK's zone, Valter Ingvall stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carl Söderqwist came out of the goal and Valter Ingvall tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gusselby FF's Valter Ingvall got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carl Söderqwist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingvar Brodin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Martin Sandberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martin Sandberg took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valentin Bremming. Valentin Bremming dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

53 minutes into the match, Gusselby FF's goal looked a bit too open when Torgny Vesterberg came free, but Valentin Bremming reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valter Ingvall in the 54th minute of play forced Hällekis RK's goalkeeper Carl Söderqwist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes in the game, Torgny Vesterberg fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Valentin Bremming having to interfere. Carl Söderqwist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingvar Brodin in the 63rd minute of play. When Ingvar Brodin came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Gusselby FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ingvar Brodin couldn't finish the play. Ingvar Brodin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Carl Söderqwist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 70 minutes in the game, Martin Sandberg dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. When the match had been going on for 85 minutes, Hällekis RK's Kåre Gummeson got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Valentin Bremming. Martin Sandberg took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valentin Bremming. Valentin Bremming dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Evert Walmarsson during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some careless play in the Gusselby FF defense, Martin Sandberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valentin Bremming. The Gusselby FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valentin Bremming should have stopped the shot. The Hällekis RK players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
