Lysekil's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emanuel Rolfsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Edvard Dalman might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Douglas Unesson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edvard Dalman ran back to his position shaking his head. Östen Granqvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martin Vidman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Emanuel Rolfsson struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Martin Vidman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grottan Boys. Martin Vidman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Östen Granqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Emanuel Rolfsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Vidman having to interfere. Pål Lönn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Östen Granqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuel Rolfsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Vidman having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Lysekil's Emanuel Klint got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Martin Vidman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Östen Granqvist in the 34th minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Grottan Boys's Emanuel Rolfsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Martin Vidman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 38 minutes into the match, Lysekil's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Rolfsson came free, but Martin Vidman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Östen Granqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emanuel Klint to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Östen Granqvist in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Martin Vidman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Östen Granqvist came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Grottan Boys fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Östen Granqvist couldn't finish the play. Emanuel Rolfsson scored 0-3 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Martin Vidman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 62 minutes into the match, Lysekil's goalkeeper Martin Vidman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emanuel Rolfsson. In the 63rd minute, Östen Granqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 71 minutes into the game, Emanuel Rolfsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Lysekil's Martin Vidman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Lysekil from getting a goal against them. Emanuel Klint received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Douglas Unesson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martin Vidman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pål Lönn in the 85th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, Grottan Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Klint came free, but Douglas Unesson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Lysekil fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Grottan Boys were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
