Spectators: 7118 (Terracing: 5468, Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Henrik Lundqvist took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute, Sven-Olof Lindqvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bernt Lindblom was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Bernt Lindblom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sivert Pålsson in the 8th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Sivert Pålsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Spånga United's supporters rose to their feet, but Sivert Pålsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernt Lindblom breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lars Boström got free with Jonas Åkesson in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 16 played minutes Spånga United got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Olof Lindqvist. Jonas Åkesson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Henrik Lundqvist showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 17 minute of play. With 23 minutes on the clock, Hannes Joensson commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 22 minutes into the game, one of Axbom BK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Alvin Wallin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 35 minutes into the match, Axbom BK's goal looked a bit too open when Sören Hansson came free, but Bernt Lindblom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lars Boström might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonas Åkesson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lars Boström ran back to his position shaking his head. Lars Boströms short, quick shot in the 44thth minute got Jonas Åkesson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Sören Hansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernt Lindblom having to interfere. In the 54th minute, Sivert Pålsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 56th minute Lars Boström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Åkesson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Lars Boström came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Axbom BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lars Boström couldn't finish the play. Bernt Lindblom made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sören Hansson in the 60th minute. In the 62nd minute Sivert Pålsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernt Lindblom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sören Hansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Bernt Lindblom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Lars Boström made a precise shot to the right of Jonas Åkesson. Spånga United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Lars Boström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Lars Boström came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Axbom BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lars Boström couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Axbom BK getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Alvin Wallin hit a great ball. Sven-Olof Lindqvist did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-3 to the left of a surprised Bernt Lindblom 85 minutes into the match. Sören Hanssons short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Bernt Lindblom to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Spånga United had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
