After 9 minutes, Sven-Olof Lindqvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Spånga United and the Allmänna Idrottsklubben players grew even worse after the yellow card. Spånga United's Sören Hansson got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Jonas Åkesson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Henry Bergström went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After 63 played minutes Allmänna Idrottsklubben got a freekick which was hit by Martin Runberg. Egon Hermansson, 63 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 68th minute, Spånga United's Sivert Pålsson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sören Hansson got free with Karl-Axel Berg in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Martin Runberg hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute, Sivert Pålsson fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Karl-Axel Berg, passed just outside the right post. When Allmänna Idrottsklubben's Mattias Blom in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
