Kristian Andersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 4 minutes of play, Horred's Stig Ahlbom made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Robin Björklund was left in no man's land by his defense there! Robin Björklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Svante Vidman, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Jim Siggman hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Nils-Erik Bruse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joakim Askestät having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonny Jonasson in the 18th minute of play forced Horred's goalkeeper Joakim Askestät to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th match minute, Hoting IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filiph Browald to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute, Hoting IFK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Stig Ahlbom fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 32nd minute Nils-Erik Bruse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joakim Askestät saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Nils-Erik Bruse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stig Ahlbom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Robin Björklund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kristian Andersson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Hoting IFK's Jens-Ola Olsson got a free kick in the 44th minute. Nils-Erik Bruse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Joakim Askestät tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Robin Björklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Svante Vidman in the 54th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Svante Vidman in the 56th minute of play forced Hoting IFK's goalkeeper Robin Björklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Stig Ahlbom came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Horred fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stig Ahlbom couldn't finish the play. Svante Vidman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Robin Björklund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tom Lang kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Horred's Svante Vidman got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonny Jonasson's late challenge caught a Horred's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonny Jonasson helped the player get up and apologised. 70 minutes into the match, Stig Ahlbom notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Hoting IFK's Robin Björklund. Robin Björklund was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Svante Vidman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th match minute, Hoting IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filiph Browald to maneuver through the defense. When Svante Vidman came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Horred fans jumped to their feet. Jonny Jonasson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Nils-Erik Bruse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
