Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Erik Johansson took the kick off in the first half of the match. Staffan Fristedt charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Staffan Fristedt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Alnarp getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Staffan Fristedt hit a great ball. Blå IF were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after Alnarp's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lennart Sävström took the corner. Alnarp's Frank Ros got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Peter Westerstrand kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frank Ros in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Orvar Drake prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Orvar Drake made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Johansson in the 28th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Erik Johansson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Orvar Drake was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Alnarp's Patrik Nordlander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lennart Sävström in the 38th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Kurt Kalfhage got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lennart Sävström during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kurt Kalfhage stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Blå IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Fransson to maneuver through the defense. 57 minutes into the game, Harry Björkqvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Blå IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alnarp the free kick. A collision led to Blå IF getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Harry Björkqvist hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Blå IF defense, Frank Ros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Orvar Drake. The Blå IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Orvar Drake should have stopped the shot. Orvar Drake made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Bolin in the 63rd minute of play. Erik Johansson hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. The long shot by Valter Wennerquist in the 67th minute really tested Orvar Drake's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 68 minutes into the match, Alnarp's Frank Ros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Orvar Drake narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With his leg Orvar Drake managed to avoid a goal in the 70thth minute, when Alnarp's Frank Ros fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 70th match minute, Blå IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Fransson to maneuver through the defense. Orvar Drake took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Johansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patrik Nordlander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kurt Kalfhage in the 77th minute of the match. After 80 played minutes Blå IF got a freekick which was hit by Victor Fransson. In the 81st minute of the match Peter Westerstrand sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Orvar Drake skillfully saved the ball. If Lennart Sävström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lennart Sävström scored 1-1 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Patrik Nordlander, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 95 played minutes Blå IF got a freekick which was hit by Fredrik Strömberg. Blå IF succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Alnarp had controlled the match.
