A very good chance. In the 20th minute Jonny Jonasson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tor Åkesson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Varnhem BK's zone, Jonny Jonasson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tor Åkesson came out of the goal and Jonny Jonasson tried to chip the ball over his head. When Gunnar Tidén fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Tor Åkesson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonny Jonasson in the 33rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ludwig Lind got free with Robin Björklund in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Nils-Erik Bruse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
