Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) If Lennart Sävström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th match minute, Blå IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Fransson to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th minute Svante Vidman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orvar Drake saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Horred booed when Blå IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harry Björkqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 16 played minutes Blå IF got a freekick which was hit by Victor Fransson. 27 minutes into the match, Blå IF's goal looked a bit too open when Svante Vidman came free, but Orvar Drake reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Kurt Kalfhage managed to get in a good position for a shot. Blå IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Kurt Kalfhage was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joakim Askestät breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 39thth minute of the game Kurt Kalfhage who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Horred's Joakim Askestät was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 42nd play minutes Kurt Kalfhage shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Joakim Askestät and just under the crossbar into goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kurt Kalfhage made a kick off. Lennart Sävström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Joakim Askestät tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Horred's zone, Lennart Sävström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joakim Askestät came out of the goal and Lennart Sävström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kurt Kalfhage in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joakim Askestät prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kurt Kalfhage sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 76th match minute, Blå IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Knut Kvist to maneuver through the defense. Kurt Kalfhage sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Otto Nyström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joakim Askestät having to interfere. Ture Hjortberg's late challenge caught a Blå IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ture Hjortberg helped the player get up and apologised. Ture Hjortberg hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Kurt Kalfhage's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joakim Askestät was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Blå IF's Kurt Kalfhage got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Horred getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Hugo Bagge hit a great ball. After 92 minutes of play, Blå IF's Lennart Sävström made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joakim Askestät was left in no man's land by his defense there! Blå IF's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
