Jens-Åke Fredriksson's late challenge caught a Svenstavik's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jens-Åke Fredriksson helped the player get up and apologised. After 12 played minutes Alvhem RK got a freekick which was hit by Torgny Nilsson. Tomas Tholsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fredrik Björck. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Tholsson ran back to his position shaking his head. Tomas Tholsson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fredrik Björck came out and tried to block the shot, but Tomas Tholsson slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 21st minute. After 27 minutes of play, Alvhem RK's Tobias Nyström made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Knut Jonsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alvhem RK's Viktor Höijer managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Dan Colin in the 34 minute of the game. The supporters of Alvhem RK booed when Svenstavik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henry Linqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Richard Sörman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 40 minutes, Tomas Tholsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Svenstavik's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Tholsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Knut Jonsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tobias Nyström went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Richard Sörman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fredrik Björck having to make a save. Tomas Tholsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Fredrik Björck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Richard Sörman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomas Tholsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fredrik Björck having to make a save. Viktor Höijer hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Fredrik Björck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dan Colin in the 65th minute of play. If Tomas Tholsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was Dan Colin who took care of the corner kick. Svenstavik's Dan Colin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fredrik Björck in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 72nd minute Tomas Tholsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fredrik Björck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute, Tomas Tholsson made a precise shot to the right of Fredrik Björck. Alvhem RK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. 84 minutes into the match, Alvhem RK's goal looked a bit too open when Tor Mikaelsson came free, but Fredrik Björck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Svenstavik's Tor Mikaelsson got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Tholsson in the 87th minute of play forced Alvhem RK's goalkeeper Fredrik Björck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Tholsson scored 3-2 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fredrik Björck, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 95 minutes into the match, Svenstavik's goal looked a bit too open when Tobias Nyström came free, but Knut Jonsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Svenstavik walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
