Spectators: 7140 (Terracing: 5356, Seating: 1642, VIP seats: 142) Åke Mossberg started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a defensive mix-up in Östra Ryd's zone, Åke Mossberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joakim Classon came out of the goal and Åke Mossberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Åke Mossberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zebastian Josefsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johan Lindman in the 10th minute of the match. Johan Lindman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zebastian Josefsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pontus Häll, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Pontus Häll recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Johan Lindman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Zebastian Josefsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 29 minutes, Åke Bållström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Östra Ryd and the Team Thorengruppen FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Östra Ryd getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Åke Bållström hit a great ball. 34 minutes into the match, Team Thorengruppen FF's goal looked a bit too open when Pontus Häll came free, but Zebastian Josefsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute, Pontus Häll got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 40th match minute, Team Thorengruppen FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan-Olof Fridlund to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Pontus Häll managed to get in a good position for a shot. Östra Ryd's supporters rose to their feet, but Pontus Häll was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zebastian Josefsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pontus Häll was the one to do the kick off. Åke Bållström kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Pontus Häll kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zebastian Josefsson. That made the score 0-3 in the 72 minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Östra Ryd's Johan Lindman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zebastian Josefsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 79 played minutes Team Thorengruppen FF got a freekick which was hit by Henrik Bjurström. Zebastian Josefsson had in the 81stth minute some difficulties stopping Staffan Lund's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball 81 minutes into the game, Östra Ryd's Staffan Lund nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zebastian Josefsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Staffan Lund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 87 minutes of play, Östra Ryd's Johan Lindman made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zebastian Josefsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Åke Lundgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Team Thorengruppen FF's Zebastian Josefsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pontus Häll in the 93rd minute of play. Pontus Häll sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
