After a defensive mix-up in Rödeby's zone, Thomas Tönnberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thor Blomberg came out of the goal and Thomas Tönnberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Thomas Tönnberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 1-0 became the score in the 18th minute when Valter Östman elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Ingemar Ferm could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Ivar Ugla made a huge save. In the 23rd minute Valter Östman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivar Ugla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frändefors's Ivar Ugla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valter Östman in the 26th minute of play. If Ingemar Ferm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the last second Ivar Ugla throw himself and got hold of the ball when Valter Östman in the 33rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Osvald Nordin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ivar Ugla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingemar Ferm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes into the match, Frändefors's goalkeeper Ivar Ugla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ingemar Ferm. When Rödeby's Valter Östman in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Frändefors's goalie prevented a goal. The attack was good, but when Valter Östman in the 48th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal.

The wind increased when Valter Östman made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Valter Östman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ivar Ugla was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. 2-0 became the score in the 56th minute when Valter Östman elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valter Östman in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ivar Ugla saved Frändefors from getting behind. Rödeby's Thor Blomberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Erik Telin in the 66th minute of play. Valter Östman struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Ivar Ugla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rödeby. Thomas Tönnberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thor Blomberg having to interfere. Ingemar Ferm struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Ivar Ugla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rödeby. In the 92nd minute, Ingemar Ferm got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valter Östman in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ivar Ugla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 97 minutes into the game, Kalle Billberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rödeby's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Frändefors the free kick. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 100th minute, when Frändefors's Göran Skytt after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Thor Blomberg in Rödeby's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. Rödeby were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Frändefors for a fine match.
