Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sören Kalfhage started the match with the kick off. Rödeby's Thor Blomberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rikard Forsberg in the 7th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rikard Forsberg in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thor Blomberg saved Rödeby from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valter Östman in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucas Haeger saved Gnesta from getting behind. Thor Blomberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sören Kalfhage, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thor Blomberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sören Kalfhage, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Rödeby's Ingemar Ferm sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lucas Haeger narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Valter Östman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Haeger having to interfere. Rödeby's Valter Östman got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ingemar Ferm got free with Lucas Haeger in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rikard Forsberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thor Blomberg having to interfere. Sören Kalfhage received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Thor Blomberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gnesta's Rikard Forsberg suffered a concussion after 43 minutes and had to leave the field. Kalle Billberg's late challenge caught a Gnesta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kalle Billberg helped the player get up and apologised. 43 minutes into the game, one of Rödeby:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Gnesta a penalty, 46 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Joakim Kilberg, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Rödeby's Thor Blomberg. 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valter Östman to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sören Kalfhage in the 51st minute of play forced Rödeby's goalkeeper Thor Blomberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 58 played minutes Rödeby got a freekick which was hit by Brian Martinsson. If Sören Kalfhage had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thor Blomberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulrik Tolsson in the 61st minute of the match. When Brian Martinsson fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rödeby's protests and gave Brian Martinsson a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Rödeby's Brian Martinsson got a free kick in the 66th minute. The audience cheered loudly when Joakim Kilberg's long shot in the 67th minute became 1-2 when the ball went to the left of and passed Thor Blomberg. The supporters of Rödeby booed when Gnesta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gösta Göransson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Sören Kalfhage managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gnesta's supporters rose to their feet, but Sören Kalfhage was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thor Blomberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gösta Göransson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Thor Blomberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rutger Åström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thor Blomberg having to make a save. After 81 played minutes, Gnesta's Joakim Kilberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Thor Blomberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gnesta reached it. 82 minutes into the match, Sören Kalfhage had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thor Blomberg. Rödeby's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sören Kalfhage was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Sören Kalfhage sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
