The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Sven-Arne Nordal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Maximilian Löfskog had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Höpåsens BK's zone, Ingvar Dalkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roy Åberg came out of the goal and Ingvar Dalkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 11 minutes into the game, Ivar Kielstedt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Höpåsens BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kivik FK the free kick. The supporters of Kivik FK booed when Höpåsens BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivar Kielstedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12thth minute of the game Maximilian Löfskog who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Höpåsens BK's Roy Åberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Roy Åberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximilian Löfskog, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ingvar Dalkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Roy Åberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kivik FK's Allan Sandberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Söderström in the 23rd minute of play. Ingvar Dalkvist charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ingvar Dalkvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Kivik FK's Ingvar Dalkvist got a free kick in the 27th minute. 31 minutes into the game, Axel Söderström recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Allan Sandberg. Axel Söderström showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After 35 played minutes Höpåsens BK got a freekick which was hit by William Brovall. In the 37th minute of the match Tobias Skoglund sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roy Åberg skillfully saved the ball. Allan Sandberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Söderström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Kivik FK getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Allan Barck hit a great ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Axel Söderström made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Vilhelm Hedin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had been going on for 62 minutes, Kivik FK's Tobias Skoglund got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Roy Åberg. 66 minutes in the game, Allan Barck fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Roy Åberg having to interfere. Maximilian Löfskog received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Roy Åberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ingvar Dalkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kivik FK played a much better game than Höpåsens BK and deserved their victory. The Höpåsens BK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
