Spectators: 7318 (Terracing: 5490, Seating: 1683, VIP seats: 145) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Axel Söderström kicked off to start the match. Roy Åberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens-Ola Lundin in the 7th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Alnö's Andreas Utter got a free kick in the 11th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hans Westerberg in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roy Åberg saved Höpåsens BK from getting behind. Ingmar Vidman made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Alexander Asserlind sent off a good shot on target. Alnö's Ingmar Vidman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Alnö from getting a goal against them. Hans Westerberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute, Jens-Ola Lundin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Jens-Ola Lundin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens-Ola Lundin in the 28th minute of play forced Höpåsens BK's goalkeeper Roy Åberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute Hans Westerberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roy Åberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Axel Söderström might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ingmar Vidman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Söderström ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 43 minutes, Hans Westerberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alnö's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hans Westerberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Hans Westerberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alnö's supporters rose to their feet, but Hans Westerberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roy Åberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After 63 played minutes Höpåsens BK got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Arne Nordal. Hans Westerberg struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Roy Åberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alnö. In the 95th minute, Jens-Ola Lundin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roy Åberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Alnö's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
