Järved BK's Thomas Johnsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per-Olof Lägdin in the 12th minute of play. Börje Vidman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Freddie Asmundsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Järved BK's goal looked a bit too open when Per-Olof Lägdin came free, but Thomas Johnsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patrik Lundgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Johnsson having to interfere. Börje Vidman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddie Asmundsson having to interfere. Thomas Johnsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per-Olof Lägdin in the 25th minute of play. Thomas Johnsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per-Olof Lägdin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Järved BK booed when Hällnäs FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jörgen Månsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 40 minutes, Ingvar Almstedt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Järved BK and the Hällnäs FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Per-Olof Lägdin might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thomas Johnsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Per-Olof Lägdin ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 59 minutes, Sebastian Damm managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Järved BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Damm was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Patrik Lundgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Johnsson having to interfere. A collision led to Järved BK getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Niclas Bergsten hit a great ball. After 69 minutes of play, Hällnäs FK's Per-Olof Lägdin made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thomas Johnsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sebastian Damm's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Freddie Asmundsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. In the 78th minute Börje Vidman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddie Asmundsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Patrik Lundgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niclas Bergsten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddie Asmundsson having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jörgen Månsson during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Hällnäs FK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
