The audience thought a goal was coming when Anthon Wennerberg got free with Ove Hellström in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bengt-Rune Linberg's late challenge caught a Stenkullen IFK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bengt-Rune Linberg helped the player get up and apologised. Bengt-Rune Linberg hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Benknäckargänget's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Allan Danielsson ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Allan Danielsson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Benknäckargänget's Göran Rydberg did a great save. 75 minutes into the match, Benknäckargänget's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Harman came free, but Göran Rydberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 81 minutes in the game, Daniel Harman fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Göran Rydberg having to interfere. 82 minutes into the match, Stenkullen IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Harald Felin came free, but Ove Hellström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over Stenkullen IFK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Benknäckargänget throughout the match.
