After a defensive mix-up in Dark Souls's zone, Konrad Sandberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nils-Emil Blomqvist came out of the goal and Konrad Sandberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Vätö BK's Gunnar Nyberg got a free kick in the 11th minute. The supporters of Dark Souls booed when Vätö BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmund Dalgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th match minute, Dark Souls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Låsberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Dark Souls's goalkeeper Nils-Emil Blomqvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Philip Fredriksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Bergkvist having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Vätö BK's Gunnar Nyberg got a free kick in the 27th minute. After having played for 30 minutes, Kevin Lindsten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vätö BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kevin Lindsten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Dark Souls's Ingvar Bruhn got a free kick in the 31st minute. When Kevin Lindsten came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Vätö BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kevin Lindsten couldn't finish the play. Kevin Lindsten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Nils-Emil Blomqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gunnar Nyberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 39 minutes into the match, Dark Souls's Peder Blixt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Samuel Bergkvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kevin Lindsten made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mark Kock during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Vätö BK booed when Dark Souls was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mark Kock didn't get a good kick on the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Vätö BK's Philip Sundberg broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 55 played minutes Dark Souls got a freekick which was hit by Mark Kock. Kevin Lindsten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils-Emil Blomqvist having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Vätö BK's goal looked a bit too open when Philip Fredriksson came free, but Samuel Bergkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Dark Souls booed when Vätö BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gunnar Nyberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute, Philip Fredriksson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 67th minute, Peder Blixt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Samuel Bergkvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Philip Fredriksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Bergkvist having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Claes Månsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sebastian Låsberg hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Kevin Lindsten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claes Månsson hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Vätö BK's Nils-Emil Ennegren got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 95 minutes into the game, Torgny Petersson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vätö BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dark Souls the free kick. 96 minutes into the match, Vätö BK's goal looked a bit too open when Peder Blixt came free, but Samuel Bergkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Vätö BK players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
