Seating: 1698, VIP seats: 147) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Philip Fredriksson made the kick off which started today's match. Philip Fredriksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peder Blixt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens-Ove Grönlund having to interfere. Roland Pilblad hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Jens-Ove Grönlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peder Blixt, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Melker Nordström hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Nils-Emil Blomqvist made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Gösta Hallgren sent off a good shot on target. Jens-Ove Grönlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peder Blixt in the 32nd minute of play. If Bertil Bäck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bertil Bäck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils-Emil Blomqvist having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bertil Bäck to make the kick off. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 51st minute of the game. One of Dark Souls:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Barsele:s goal. Ivar Sandberg walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Gösta Hallgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 58th minute Gösta Hallgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils-Emil Blomqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Barsele's Dennis Tunander got a free kick in the 61st minute. Jens-Ove Grönlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Philip Fredriksson in the 65th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute of the match Dennis Tunander shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nils-Emil Blomqvist showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Peder Blixt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens-Ove Grönlund having to interfere. Jens-Ove Grönlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Philip Fredriksson in the 78th minute of play. Bertil Bäck might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nils-Emil Blomqvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bertil Bäck ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Peder Blixt got free with Jens-Ove Grönlund in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 86 minutes into the match, Dark Souls's goal looked a bit too open when Bertil Bäck came free, but Nils-Emil Blomqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peder Blixt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 91 minutes into the match, Bertil Bäck notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Dark Souls's Nils-Emil Blomqvist. Nils-Emil Blomqvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Barsele getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Leonardo Lundgren hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Dark Souls's zone, Bertil Bäck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nils-Emil Blomqvist came out of the goal and Bertil Bäck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Dark Souls had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
