The referee ignored Dark Souls's protests and gave Roland Pilblad a yellow card for diving instead. The referee gave Örkelhöjden BK a penalty, 7 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jakob Vall, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Dark Souls's Nils-Emil Blomqvist. 0-1. In the 15thth minute of the game Pelle Blom who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dark Souls's Nils-Emil Blomqvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Philip Fredriksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Philip Fredriksson to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Dark Souls's zone, Pelle Blom stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nils-Emil Blomqvist came out of the goal and Pelle Blom tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rune Törnblom hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Philip Fredriksson in the 76th minute of play forced Örkelhöjden BK's goalkeeper Bengt-Arne Falkrans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peder Blixt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt-Arne Falkrans having to interfere.
