Gösta Melberg started the match with the kick off. Klimpfjäll's Ludvig Sjödin got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 19 minutes into the match, Torsten Åberg notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Casa Pia FC's Jon Sjöberg. Jon Sjöberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ludvig Sjödin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Jon Sjöberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Per-Oskar Västberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dick Gunnarsson in the 31st minute. Ludvig Sjödin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Torsten Åberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Jon Sjöberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 0-2 became the score in the 44th minute when Ludvig Sjödin elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The Casa Pia FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Klimpfjäll were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Torsten Åberg to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Casa Pia FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Rune Svensson hit a great ball. Jan-Ove Bållström hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. If Ludvig Sjödin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 60 minutes into the match, Casa Pia FC's goalkeeper Jon Sjöberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ludvig Sjödin. Rune Ersman kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Per-Oskar Västberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dick Gunnarsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Casa Pia FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Rune Ersman hit a great ball. Ludvig Sjödin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dick Gunnarsson took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Per-Oskar Västberg. Per-Oskar Västberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Casa Pia FC's zone, Ludvig Sjödin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jon Sjöberg came out of the goal and Ludvig Sjödin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sten Sjöman hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Jon Sjöberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torsten Åberg in the 85th minute of play. Dick Gunnarsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Per-Oskar Västberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dick Gunnarsson ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 94th minute Gösta Melberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per-Oskar Västberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Klimpfjäll walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
