Dick Fransson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 23 minutes into the game, Filip Söderström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Syrianska's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Karlskoga FK the free kick. After 30 played minutes Karlskoga FK got a freekick which was hit by Per Forsman. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Häger in the 33rd minute of play forced FC Syrianska's goalkeeper Sixten Sundling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dick Fransson was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Håkan Rang.
