In the 29th minute, Bernt Söder got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 33 minutes into the game, Ronny Olsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Syrianska's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Falköping the free kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Staffan Liljeström got free with Sixten Sundling in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 93rd minute of the match Åke Bergman sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Henric Wallin skillfully saved the ball. Mark Brovall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Henric Wallin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
