Spectators: 6677 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1677, VIP seats: 0) Kent Backman made the kick off and thus started the match. The supporters of Bjärred RK booed when Blixten Lightning was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Calle Biörling didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 9 played minutes Blixten Lightning got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Jansson. Benjamin Jansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Ove Hägg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bjärred RK's Kent Backman got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Calle Biörling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute, Calle Biörling hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kent Backman was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 30th minute. Bjärred RK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 33 minutes into the game, Jon Andersson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Blixten Lightning's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bjärred RK the free kick. In the 33rd minute, Jon Andersson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Benjamin Jansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Bjärred RK's zone, Calle Biörling stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ove Hägg came out of the goal and Calle Biörling tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Calle Biörling stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Blixten Lightning's David Blixt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isak Wikander in the 54th minute of play. If Calle Biörling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ove Hägg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benjamin Jansson in the 62nd minute. With a little luck, Bjärred RK's Ove Hägg got control of the ball when Calle Biörling tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 66 minutes, Benjamin Jansson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Blixten Lightning and the Bjärred RK players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Blixten Lightning getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Benjamin Jansson hit a great ball. If Kent Backman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 70 played minutes Blixten Lightning got a freekick which was hit by Arman Sigman. Christer Nyman charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christer Nyman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Christer Nyman hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Isak Wikander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Blixt having to interfere. Ove Hägg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Calle Biörling, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. A collision led to Bjärred RK getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Jakob Ljungberg hit a great ball. Ove Hägg made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Calle Biörling sent off a good shot on target. Blixten Lightning were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after Bjärred RK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Calle Biörling took the corner. Benjamin Jansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ove Hägg having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Blixten Lightning left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Bjärred RK.
