An unexpectedly hard shot by Torbjörn Björnsson in the 25th minute of play forced Bjärred RK's goalkeeper Ove Hägg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albin Hjeltman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Ove Hägg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Bjärred RK's Ove Hägg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torbjörn Björnsson in the 29th minute of play. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Vitaby's goalkeeper Reine Sjögren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 35th minute, Sebastian Gustavsson sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Bjärred RK's Ove Hägg didn't even have to move. After having played for 38 minutes, Kent Backman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bjärred RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kent Backman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 39th minute, Kent Backman made a precise shot to the right of Reine Sjögren. Vitaby's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Reine Sjögren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kent Backman in the 55th minute of play. Bjärred RK's Oliver Sävström shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 66th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Reine Sjögren but with some difficulty. Isak Wikander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reine Sjögren having to interfere. If Torbjörn Björnsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ove Hägg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Albin Hjeltman went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. When Jonas Karlsson fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vitaby's protests and gave Jonas Karlsson a yellow card for diving instead. Reine Sjögren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kent Backman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ove Hägg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torbjörn Björnsson in the 88th minute of the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
