Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Allan Ambjörnsson started the match with the kick off. Herbert Målare was out of position in the 3 minute of play, and Benjamin Tomasson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Benjamin Tomasson really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Jörn Sandwall charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jörn Sandwall the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jörn Sandwall hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Benestad FC's Holger Odin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Allan Ambjörnsson in the 15th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Delsbo's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Tomasson came free, but Herbert Målare reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jakob Österlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Herbert Målare tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Holger Odin came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Delsbo's Allan Ambjörnsson. But to his dismay, Allan Ambjörnsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Jörn Sandwall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Holger Odin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Allan Ambjörnsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Holger Odin was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. The supporters of Delsbo booed when Benestad FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per-Arne Stenquist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jörn Sandwall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42ndth minute of the game Allan Ambjörnsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Benestad FC's Holger Odin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 43 played minutes Benestad FC got a freekick which was hit by Holger Nordgren. In the 48th minute Jörn Sandwall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Holger Odin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benjamin Tomasson to strike the kick off in the second half. Holger Odin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Allan Ambjörnsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Allan Ambjörnsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Allan Ambjörnsson took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Holger Odin to make any attempt to save it. Benestad FC's Jakob Österlund got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 71 minutes into the match, Allan Ambjörnsson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Holger Odin, 1-3. In the 77th minute Allan Ambjörnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Holger Odin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Delsbo's Jörn Sandwall got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match was over Delsbo could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Benestad FC throughout the match.
