Spectators: 6664 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Benjamin Tomasson started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd match minute, Sollebrunn IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan-Åke Nyberg to maneuver through the defense. Benjamin Tomasson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Eric Offendahl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Holger Odin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frank Nordal in the 16th minute. Eric Offendahl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Tomasson in the 24th minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Patrik Nordlund fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Holger Odin, passed just outside the right post. The supporters of Benestad FC booed when Sollebrunn IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ralf Björnsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eric Offendahl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jakob Österlund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Benestad FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Patrik Nordlund made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jakob Österlund got free with Eric Offendahl in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Holger Odin came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Sollebrunn IK's Patrik Nordlund. But to his dismay, Patrik Nordlund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 63rd minute, Patrik Nordlund left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sollebrunn IK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Holger Nordgren's late challenge caught a Sollebrunn IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Holger Nordgren helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Benestad FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Holger Nordgren hit a great ball. Jakob Österlund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Eric Offendahl made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jan-Åke Nyberg during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jan-Åke Nyberg hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Ralf Björnsson hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Eric Offendahl made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jakob Österlund in the 75th minute. Benjamin Tomasson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benjamin Tomasson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 94 minutes, Jakob Österlund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Benestad FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jakob Österlund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sollebrunn IK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
