Delsbo's Allan Ambjörnsson got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Sollebrunn IK defense, Jörn Sandwall kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eric Offendahl. The Sollebrunn IK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eric Offendahl should have stopped the shot. If Jörn Sandwall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the match, Sollebrunn IK's goal looked a bit too open when Allan Ambjörnsson came free, but Eric Offendahl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute, Jan-Åke Nyberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Jörn Sandwall managed to get in a good position for a shot. Delsbo's supporters rose to their feet, but Jörn Sandwall was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eric Offendahl breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Delsbo's Ragnar Sundling got a free kick in the 39th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Sollebrunn IK's Patrik Nordlund sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Herbert Målare narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Delsbo getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Hampus Melberg hit a great ball. Allan Ambjörnsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 46 played minutes Sollebrunn IK got a freekick which was hit by Harry Böcklund. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jörn Sandwall got free with Eric Offendahl in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Allan Ambjörnsson made the kick off in the second half. Eric Offendahl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Allan Ambjörnsson in the 53rd minute of play. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Delsbo's goalkeeper Herbert Målare, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 60th minute of the match Sven Ödmann shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Herbert Målare showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 61st match minute, Delsbo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcus Lövgren to maneuver through the defense. Herbert Målare showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrik Nordlund in the 62nd minute of the match. 2-1 became the score in the 64th minute when Patrik Nordlund elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The supporters of Delsbo booed when Sollebrunn IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ralf Björnsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute Allan Ambjörnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Offendahl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Allan Ambjörnsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eric Offendahl read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. When Patrik Nordlund fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sollebrunn IK's protests and gave Patrik Nordlund a yellow card for diving instead. Patrik Nordlund kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Delsbo's Herbert Målare played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrik Nordlund in the 76th minute of play. Martin Benet's late challenge caught a Sollebrunn IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Martin Benet helped the player get up and apologised. In the 79th minute, Martin Benet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eric Offendahl came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Delsbo's Jörn Sandwall. But to his dismay, Jörn Sandwall quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Jörn Sandwall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Allan Ambjörnsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Allan Ambjörnsson took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eric Offendahl. Eric Offendahl dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Delsbo walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
