With a couple of smart ball manuevers Per-Erik Ekeroth in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kjell Sikström saved Boxholm FF from getting behind. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Boxholm FF's goalkeeper Kjell Sikström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Fc Trelleborg getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Per-Arne Rudkvist hit a great ball. When Ingemar Bergdal, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 11 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Kjell Sikström was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 13 minutes into the match, Per-Erik Ekeroth notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Boxholm FF's Kjell Sikström. Kjell Sikström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 20 minutes into the match, Boxholm FF's goal looked a bit too open when Per-Erik Ekeroth came free, but Kjell Sikström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Per-Erik Ekeroth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Ekeroth in the 23rd minute of play forced Boxholm FF's goalkeeper Kjell Sikström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Fc Trelleborg's Per-Erik Ekeroth sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kjell Sikström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Per-Erik Ekeroth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 28 minutes into the match, Boxholm FF's goal looked a bit too open when Ingemar Bergdal came free, but Kjell Sikström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Per-Erik Ekeroth sped through Boxholm FF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kjell Sikström. In the 34th minute, Per-Erik Ekeroth got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 35 minutes into the game, Ingemar Bergdal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Kjell Sikström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bengt-Rune Arenstedt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Reine Isaksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 40 minutes, Ingemar Bergdal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fc Trelleborg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ingemar Bergdal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Per-Erik Ekeroth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Kjell Sikström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Birger Ekrot blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kjell Sikström having to make a save. The Boxholm FF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Fc Trelleborg were winning 0-4.

Folke Smedfeldt scored 1-4 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Reine Isaksson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Per-Erik Ekeroth could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Kjell Sikström made a huge save. Kjell Sikström made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Per-Erik Ekeroth sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Leo Ryberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fc Trelleborg's supporters rose to their feet, but Leo Ryberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kjell Sikström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Boxholm FF's Kjell Sikström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Boxholm FF from getting a goal against them. After 72 minutes, Esbjörn Hägglund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boxholm FF and the Fc Trelleborg players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 73 played minutes Boxholm FF got a freekick which was hit by Esbjörn Hägglund. Per-Erik Ekeroth took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kjell Sikström. Kjell Sikström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. Per-Erik Ekeroth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 84 played minutes Boxholm FF got a freekick which was hit by Elliot Siggman. Per-Erik Ekeroth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Kjell Sikström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Per-Erik Ekeroth could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Kjell Sikström made a huge save. Adam Ekeroth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kjell Sikström having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Fc Trelleborg's Per-Erik Ekeroth sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kjell Sikström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ingemar Bergdal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kjell Sikström having to make a save. In the 95th match minute, Boxholm FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Folke Smedfeldt to maneuver through the defense. The Boxholm FF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Fc Trelleborg were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
