After 4 minutes, Mats Finman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chippen FC and the Balsta United players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 4 played minutes Chippen FC got a freekick which was hit by Mats Finman. Erik Smefeldt's late challenge caught a Balsta United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erik Smefeldt helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 7th minute of the game. One of Chippen FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Balsta United:s goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Morgan Granqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Balsta United's supporters rose to their feet, but Morgan Granqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonatan Harlén breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kristoffer Westerstrand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tim Emander, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Morgan Granqvist dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonatan Harlén, 2-0. In the 25th minute, Balsta United's Morgan Granqvist dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. In the 29th match minute, Balsta United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pontus Berglund to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Morgan Granqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Balsta United's supporters rose to their feet, but Morgan Granqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonatan Harlén breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Pontus Berglund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Chippen FC's zone, Axel Martinsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonatan Harlén came out of the goal and Axel Martinsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Calle Sundberg hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Morgan Granqvist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonatan Harlén having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Chippen FC's Mats Finman got a free kick in the 44th minute. If Joakim Örn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Morgan Granqvist was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Morgan Granqvist in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonatan Harlén prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 55 minutes into the match, Chippen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joakim Örn came free, but Jonatan Harlén reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Morgan Granqvist came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Balsta United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Morgan Granqvist couldn't finish the play. Axel Martinsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonatan Harlén having to interfere. After 60 minutes of play Balsta United's Pontus Berglund was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Pontus Berglund hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After 65 minutes, Morgan Granqvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Balsta United and the Chippen FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 65th minute, Morgan Granqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tim Emander in the 70th minute of play forced Balsta United's goalkeeper Kristoffer Westerstrand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Morgan Granqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 73 minutes into the match, Chippen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Morgan Granqvist came free, but Jonatan Harlén reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute, Chippen FC's Ingvar Gummeson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kristoffer Westerstrand. Kristoffer Westerstrand yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. In the 86th minute of the match Agne Karlsson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonatan Harlén skillfully saved the ball. Kristoffer Westerstrand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Kalfhage in the 87th minute of the match. Ingvar Gummeson kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Morgan Granqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Balsta United's supporters rose to their feet, but Morgan Granqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonatan Harlén breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Balsta United's Elliott Lundqvist got a free kick in the 94th minute. Balsta United walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
