Borrby's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rejmyre the free kick. After 3 played minutes Borrby got a freekick which was hit by Jack Classon. Edward Fransson made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 5thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Rutger Hellsing would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonny Hök in the 8th minute of play forced Rejmyre's goalkeeper Rutger Hellsing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rejmyre's goalkeeper Rutger Hellsing, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Jonny Hök had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the match, Rejmyre's goal looked a bit too open when Carl Fristedt came free, but Rutger Hellsing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute, Jonny Hök got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Rutger Hellsing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonny Hök, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rutger Hellsing made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonny Hök in the 66th minute of play. When Per Lange came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Rejmyre fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Per Lange couldn't finish the play. After 72 played minutes Borrby got a freekick which was hit by Jack Classon. After a rather tough play, Rejmyre's Arvin Bolander got a free kick in the 74th minute. Rutger Hellsing stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edward Fransson's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. In the 76thth minute of the game Jonny Hök who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rejmyre's Rutger Hellsing was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Borrby players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
