In the 20thth minute of the game Patrick Wahlnäs who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Åsa's Anders Eriksson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Patrick Wahlnäs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anders Eriksson having to interfere. Anders Eriksson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Helge Torsberg's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Elliot Boman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mattias Samuelsson in the 26th minute. After a rather tough play, Arnemark RK's Emil Hård got a free kick in the 28th minute. A collision led to Åsa getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Viggo Albom hit a great ball. Anders Eriksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Wahlnäs in the 33rd minute of play. After 35 played minutes Åsa got a freekick which was hit by Axel Ekelund. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivar Biörkman in the 36th minute of play forced Åsa's goalkeeper Anders Eriksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Åsa's Anders Eriksson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Helge Torsberg in the 39th minute of play. Ivar Biörkman took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Anders Eriksson. Åsa's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Patrick Wahlnäs made a kick off. If Bengt Svartengren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Helge Torsberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Anders Eriksson made a huge save. Helge Torsberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Anders Eriksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 59 minutes into the game, Helge Torsberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Anders Eriksson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Åsa's Anders Eriksson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Åsa from getting a goal against them. 64 minutes into the match, Åsa's goalkeeper Anders Eriksson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Helge Torsberg. In the 67thth minute of the game Walter Helström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Åsa's Anders Eriksson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 68 minutes, Bengt Svartengren made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Arnemark RK's Elliot Boman tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 75th minute Patrick Wahlnäs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anders Eriksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A wasted opportunity for Arnemark RK. 85 minutes into the match, Arnemark RK's goal looked a bit too open when Mattias Samuelsson came free, but Elliot Boman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. During the 86th minute of the match Sakarias Bolin completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. With a little luck, Åsa's Anders Eriksson got control of the ball when Helge Torsberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 94 played minutes Åsa got a freekick which was hit by Emil Kjellberg. Arnemark RK's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
