But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Harry Molander couldn't finish the play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Harry Molander in the 53rd minute of play forced Äspered's goalkeeper Ronny Torstensson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Harry Molander's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ronny Torstensson was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Lars Gudmundsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonny Hylander having to interfere. In the 61st minute Jim Smedfeldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonny Hylander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonny Hylander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars Gudmundsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonny Hylander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Gudmundsson in the 66th minute of the match. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The supporters of Backaryd FF booed when Äspered was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joakim Hylander didn't get a good kick on the ball.
