Mikael Tillman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Åke Benet in the 3rd minute of the match. Jonas Erserman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikael Tillman having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roger Engström in the 13th minute of play forced Cliff Barnes FC's goalkeeper Harry Billberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 17 played minutes Cliff Barnes FC got a freekick which was hit by Gert Arvidsson. Harry Billberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kjell Nordmark in the 18th minute of play. Sven-Åke Benet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikael Tillman having to interfere. When Sven-Åke Benet, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 37 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Mikael Tillman was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Mikael Tillman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Åke Benet in the 43rd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Sven-Åke Benet took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Mikael Tillman to make any attempt to save it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sven-Åke Benet to strike the kick off in the second half. Freddie Häger hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 54th minute, Roger Engström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sven-Åke Benet struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Mikael Tillman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cliff Barnes FC. The supporters of Cliff Barnes FC booed when Hata aik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freddie Häger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cliff Barnes FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonas Erserman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 70 minutes into the match, Cliff Barnes FC's Jonas Erserman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mikael Tillman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 71 played minutes Hata aik got a freekick which was hit by Joachim Nordin. Roger Engström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Harry Billberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Freddie Häger helped the player get up and apologised. Cliff Barnes FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
